Wedding Day FAq

Planning a wedding can be super difficult, let’s plan together to help things run smooth.

Timeline

Your timeline depends on a few things…

  1. Ceremony time

  2. What part of your day do you want coverage for.

  3. Dinner time

  4. Travel (if needed)

  5. If you’re wanting a first look or not.

  6. Do you want to join cocktail hour?

Once we have these details we can work together to create the perfect timeline and offer you coverage to fit everything you’re needing. Especially if you’re on a budget, you don’t always need a photographer for your entire day.

Explain to me your editing process…

So once I get home from your wedding day, I immediately upload images and back them up. I keep your raw files for 1 year. When I start my editing, I go through and weed out the photos that aren’t worth keeping, for example, the blurry ones, the duplicated and ones with imperfections. I then go through and edit with my personal preset that I’ve created. What editing style you see available in my portfolio is exactly the editing you receive on your wedding day. Remember, you’ve hired me based off my website portfolio and my consult with you, so if my editing is not your style, we can find someone that meets your editing needs. As for blemishes, if you have a face pimple, please explain to me prior to your day and talk about editing options. I do not remove people from images, change anyones body size, or alter your appearance in any way. I also do not add a fake sky in the background. I will do my best to ask people to get out of an image or move something around me, but some things are out of my control.

Common questions

Do you offer a first look?

Yes, I do. A lot of the feedback I have been receiving from offering a first look has been amazing. A lot of my clients love being able to get a chunk of the photos done before the ceremony so they’re able to enjoy cocktail hour with friends and family.

What type of clients are you looking for?

I am very laid back, which is exactly the type of client I seek when we do our consult. I know planning a wedding day is stressful and can cause a lot of emotions. One thing I personally look for are people who are more on my level of personality. It is important for us to have trust and respect for your wedding day. It is also very important to me to have clients who appreciate their vendors as their team rather than a hired person/people. For your wedding day to be successful, we all need to work together as a team. I always tell my clients, “you don’t choose me, we choose each other.”

When will my photos be finished?

I always tell my clients up to 2 months, however most of the time they are done well before that. Please remember to be patient, I work hard to deliver your photos for you.
